About the Founder
Kabindra Man Shakya
Senior Entertainment Photographer & Photojournalist
KathmanduCraze was founded by Kabindra Man Shakya, a senior entertainment photographer and photojournalist whose work has helped shape Nepal’s glamour, modelling, and entertainment photography scene for decades.
Born in Baglung, Kabindra Man Shakya began his photography journey in the early 1980s, starting with analog equipment and a deep personal passion for the craft. What began as a small studio practice gradually grew into a lifelong commitment to photography, storytelling, and the visual documentation of Nepal’s entertainment industry.
Over the years, he photographed many of Nepal’s leading actresses, models, and public personalities, contributing to national publications and entertainment-focused media. His work also extended into photojournalism, where he served in leadership roles within the National Forum of Photo Journalists.
As Nepal’s modelling and entertainment scene began to evolve, Kabindra Man Shakya saw the need for a dedicated platform where models, photographers, and creative talent could be discovered. This vision led to the creation of KathmanduCraze.com, one of Nepal’s pioneering online model and glamour photography platforms.
More than a website, KathmanduCraze became a creative gateway. It gave aspiring models visibility, connected talent with opportunity, and documented an important era of Nepal’s fashion and entertainment culture.
Today, KathmanduCraze continues that legacy with a renewed digital vision: to celebrate Nepali beauty, creativity, photography, and talent for a new generation.
